Terms & Conditions
01 About these terms
These terms govern your booking of a place on the FinTech Teens summer programme (“the Programme”). By registering a place, the parent or guardian completing the form (“you”) agrees to these terms on behalf of the participating student (“your child”). FinTech Teens is an independent educational programme founded and delivered by Tanvir Ahmed and Khizr Minhaas.
02 Eligibility
The Programme is designed for students aged 15–18. By booking, you confirm that your child falls within this age range and that you have parental responsibility for them. No prior experience in economics, finance, data or technology is required.
03 Booking & registration
Submitting the registration form expresses your interest in a place and does not, by itself, constitute a confirmed booking or a binding contract. A place is only confirmed once we have contacted you with full details and received payment (or agreed payment arrangements). Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
04 Fees & payment
The full fee for the six-week Programme is £240. Early-bird places, where available, are offered at £180. An optional year-round mentorship add-on is available at additional cost and is confirmed separately.
We accept the following payment methods, which you may select during registration:
- PayPal — pay securely online using the link we provide on confirmation.
- Direct Bank Transfer — we will email our account details for you to make a transfer.
Fees quoted are per student. Your child’s place is secured once cleared payment is received, unless a payment plan has been agreed with us in writing.
05 Cancellations & refunds
- Cancellations made 14 days or more before the start date are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made 7–13 days before the start date are eligible for a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before the start date, or non-attendance, are non-refundable.
- If we cancel a Programme for reasons within our control, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future cohort.
06 Attendance & conduct
We ask that students attend punctually and engage respectfully with facilitators and peers. We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour disrupts the learning of others or compromises safety, without refund. Parents are responsible for their child’s travel to and from the venue.
07 Safeguarding
The safety and wellbeing of young people is our priority. Facilitators follow appropriate safeguarding practices. Please inform us in advance of any medical, accessibility or additional needs so we can support your child effectively. In an emergency we will use the contact details you provide.
08 Photography & media
We may occasionally take photographs or recordings during sessions for educational and promotional purposes. If you do not wish your child to appear in any such material, please notify us in writing before the Programme begins and we will respect your request.
09 Data & privacy
We collect the information you provide solely to administer your booking and communicate with you about the Programme. Full details of what we collect, why, and your rights are set out in the Privacy Policy below.
10 Brand & affiliation disclaimer
Company names and logos shown on our website are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only, to indicate firms where speaking undergraduates have secured roles. FinTech Teens is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of these organisations.
11 Outcomes
The Programme is an enrichment and skills experience. While it is designed to build knowledge, confidence and career awareness, we make no guarantee of any specific academic result, internship, apprenticeship or employment outcome.
12 Changes to the Programme
We may need to make reasonable changes to the schedule, venue, facilitators or content. Where changes are material, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Privacy Policy
01 Who we are
FinTech Teens (“we”, “us”) runs an in-person educational summer programme for 15–18 year-olds in Hackney, London. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through our website and registration form. You can reach us at info@fintechteens.com .

- Programme information — any medical, accessibility or additional needs you choose to share so we can support your child.
- Correspondence — emails and WhatsApp messages you exchange with us.
03 How we use it
- To process your registration, confirm a place and take payment.

- To keep students safe during sessions, including emergency contact.
- To issue your child’s digital certificate of completion.
We rely on the performance of our agreement with you, and our legitimate interest in running the Programme safely, as the legal bases for this processing under UK GDPR.
04 What we don’t do
We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for automated decision-making. Payment is handled by PayPal or your bank — we never see or store full card details.
05 Retention
We keep registration information for the duration of the Programme and a reasonable period afterwards for certificates, references and legal record-keeping, after which it is securely deleted. Information about medical or additional needs is deleted once the Programme ends.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@fintechteens.com . You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) .
07 Children’s information
Bookings are made by a parent or guardian, and we collect student details only from them — not from the student directly. We hold the minimum information about your child needed to run the Programme safely, and photography or recordings of students are only used in line with the consent terms set out in the Terms & Conditions above.
